You know you're a new homeowner when...

you're upset about a rainy day because you were really gung ho to clean the gutters. It looks like that job will have to be for a different day. And when that day comes, hopefully in the foreseeable future, I'm almost 100% positive I'll have quite a story for it.


On the other hand, we were able to do a lot of inside cleaning, share a short visit with my mother and just kick back and do some lazy Sunday lounging. All in all, it's been a really nice day. It's been one of those days where nothing particularly special happens, but you just have a quiet feeling of calm and happiness.

Looks like it will be quite a busy week this week, so I am grateful for the chance to relax. Lots of wedding things to attend to - ballroom dance lessons, detail appointment at our venue and picking up my future mother-in-law at the airport for my upcoming shower.
