I Feel So Decorative!!

I am very pleased to be obtaining some more decorative pieces to accent my new home. I've been dying to add some little homey touches and today I got to do just that!


I went to Target, which is the best store in the entire world, by the way. I could spend a whole day there strolling the aisles. There's rarely been something I need or want that can't be found there. It also makes me feel calm and at peace. It's kind of like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's - nothing bad could ever happen to a person there. 


So anyway, I went to Target and aside from a fabulous pair of black pumps on clearance for 
$7. 48, I bought my first ever box of potpourri and jar of glass beads. Now I have a lovely new centerpiece for my coffee table and a basket of fresh-smelling, pear potpourri in my guest bedroom. 

It's a shame we won't be having any more overnight guests this summer, because now there's actually something pretty in there to look at! Let me know if you'd like to come for a visit!
