(Though I suppose now it is technically a "tropical storm".)
I am so proud of myself! I made my first ever cup of coffee in a coffee maker. I realize that sounds minorly pathetic, but I've actually never done it before. I always go to Dunkin Donuts or some other coffee shop if for some reason Dunks is not available. In a few rare pinches I've even made instant coffee. But since I received a Cuisinart, stainless steel, 10 cup coffee maker for my shower (thanks Lynnie) I decided today way a good day to try it out, since I have no desire to venture outside my house today.
Maybe I will be really good now and start brewing my own coffee every morning, or at least several days a week. I know it's a really good money saver, and then maybe I won't feel so guilty about blowing a couple hundred at the outlets, which I may or may have not done yesterday after my dress fitting.
I LOVED wearing my dress again! I forgot how beautiful it was. I never thought I'd hear myself say this but I actually wish I didn't lose weight from last summer because I surprisingly needed to get it taken in! Totally racks up the alteration costs but what are you gonna do?

I sincerely hope a tree does not fall on our roof today. Please keep your fingers crossed.
