Which is precisely what I'll be doing every day probably for the next two weeks! Our yard is completely covered with leaves and sticks. I was out earlier this evening and starting to feel very overwhelmed, but as my mom optimistically put, all the less leaves to rake up in the fall - so every cloud really does have a silver lining. Plus, I am truly grateful that we did not have a tree hit the house and we never lost power. Definitely a lucky break for us. Still, I admit as I raked through our littered lawn I thought to myself, "I wouldn't have to do this if I were back in my apartment." Yaaaaaay homeownership!!
In wedding news, my birdcage cardholder arrived today! I can't wait to wrap my autumn garland around it. I love these fun, crafty wedding projects.
